Cannaboe Sugarpaste Novelty Animals Workshop

We had our novelty animal workshop on Tuesday last in The Food Hub in Drumshanbo during the Joe Mooney Summer School Festival.

The kids made some fantastic animals.   We had white crocodiles, snakes, mice, dogs, cats, and even a mini person.

Cannaboe Cupcake for Kids workshop

Just back from a workshop for kids in The Food Hub in Drumshanbo.

We had 21 children between the ages of 8-13.  They baked well over 100 cupcakes and had great fun making little sugarpaste toppings for them.

This is a 120 cupcake tower recently made for a wedding in the Landmark Hotel.

There were three different types of cupcakes;
chocolate with a chocolate buttercream topping and chocolate chips;

Mary & Ronan’s wedding

This is a beautiful photo Mary sent me of herself and her husband, Ronan, cutting their wedding cake which we made recently.

I had a lovely call from Mary today thanking me for the cake.

Athlone Advanced Sugarcraft Course Week 8

On our 8th week the girls brought in an 8″ square maderia.

We cut this up to make round and square mini cakes.
